Role description: 

Responsible for providing administrative support to the in-country Program Lead and coordinator to ensure the smooth delivery of support services.

​​

​Key responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative, logistical, and operational support to the in-country team. 

  • Ensure the effective and efficient management of program resources, including project assets, supplies, and equipment. 

  • Assist in coordinating and implementing project activities, events, and meetings. 

  • Support the preparation of financial and administrative reports, including budget tracking, expense reports, and purchase orders. 

  • Support the procurement and logistics processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contracting. 

  • Provide interpretation and translation services as needed. 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.  

  • Other ad-hoc duties as required.

  • Fluent in Tuvaluan and English, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • At least 3 years of experience in administrative, procurement or logistical support 

  • Strong organisational, coordination, and administrative skills 

  • Responsive and efficient with your time 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Excellent communication skills, along with great time management and problem-solving 

  • Can work independently and proactively, while actively contributing to a team.
